DATE UPDATE!! …. so following on from all your lovely suggestions I’ve started to use up my stock of dates … I have used Claire Cross’s recipe… played with it a little to make these dense and enormously rich chocolate bites πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
180g dates
45g cacao
200g pecan nuts
125g almond milk
1tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp baking soda
Blitz pecans in a blender until they break down and create a nut butter (this takes quite a few mins)…. Add and blend dates, almond milk
cacao, vanilla and soda.
Grease muffin tins, or use cases and bake for 20 mins 160 f
Leave to cool on a wrack and then chop in to delicious crumbly bite size chunks πŸ˜ƒ
