HOMEMADE DONER KEBAB!

I cannot take any credit for this (apart from the fact that I scoffed it down all by myself)! All from the fair hand of Mr Wetton πŸ’š

Home Made Doner Kebab meat

250g lamb mince
250g beef mince
Or just 500 g lamb if preferred
Optional- some bread crumbs and 1 egg beaten.

Half to one teaspoon each as preferred of: ground cumin, ground coriander, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, mixed dried herbs, pepper, salt, chilli flakes,paprika.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and work all together until well combined or use a food processor.

Chill for 20 mins in fridge for flavour to develop.

Line a loaf tin with baking paper and press the meat mixture in to form a loaf shape. Cook in 180 degree oven for 40 mins turning half way to get even browning.

Wrap loaf in foil to rest for 10 mins then slice very thinly and stuff in warmed pittas topped with your favourite accompaniments- mixed salad, tomato, sliced onion, hot chilli sauce, yoghurt etc..
